Based on intelligence, one male Indian passenger, who arrived from Dubai in Flight No. EK-544 on 30.05.2023 was intercepted by the Air Custom Officers. On examination of his checked-in baggage, 10 nos. of gold plates found concealed in 10 nos. of CPUs, resulting in recovery of 1165 grams of gold of 24 k purity valued at ₹ 63.07 Lakhs, which was recovered and seized under the Customs Act, 1962. Passenger was arrested and later released on bail.

Further investigation is under progress.
