A Five-Day “International Workshop on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure” has been organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Puducherry from 22.05.2023 to 26.05.2023. Dr. Nidhi M, Assistant Professor and HoD (Civil Engineering), NIT Puducherry welcomed the gathering to the event and briefed about the workshop.

Dr. Ganesan Kannabiran, Director In-Charge, NIT Puducherry presided over the meeting and delivered the presidential address. Dr. Sundaravarathan S, Registrar, NIT Puducherry has delivered the special address. Dr. Ashwin Kumar P C, Assistant Professor, IIT Roorkee also addressed the gathering. Dr. Gautham A, Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering has given the vote of thanks The workshop gathered 26 registrations from faculty members, research scholars and academicians of various institutes. The workshop hopes to provide a unique crossroads for a diverse community of researchers, developers, scientists, students and industry delegates from research areas of Infrastructure and Construction working in the field of Disaster Resilient Structures and Disaster Mitigation. Dr. Nidhi M, Assistant Professor and HoD (Civil Engineering) is the convener and Dr. Gautham A, Assistant Professor and (Civil Engineering) is the coordinator for the workshop.
