Dwarka

The hospitality of Tupni village near Dwarka was experienced by 300 dignitaries from the Saurashtra Tamil Sangamam. The villages’ youth welcomed them with Krishna-Radha Raas and folk music. The locals in Tupni wore traditional attires to welcome the guests. The event was attended byMinister of Tourism, Mr. Mulubhai Bera, and the Minister of Education, Dr.Kuberbhai Dindor.

“This is my motherland, and I do not feel like returning to Tamil Nadu because of the love, affection and hospitality shown by the people,” A.R. Mahalakshmi, one of the visitors, commented.

Tourism Minister Shri Mulabhai Bera said that the Saurashtra Tamil Sangamam has been organised with the inspiration of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

He explained that their ancestors were from Saurashtra and told the historical importance of Tupni village.

MLA Shri Pabubha Manek, Talala MLA Shri Bhagwan Barad, Sarpanch, village leaders, officials, and local people were present on this occasion.
