In 1948, countries of the world came together and founded the World Health Organization to promote health, keep the world safe and serve the vulnerable – so everyone everywhere can attain the highest level of health and well-being. We commemorate this as World Health Day.

Taking this opportunity to motivate action to tackle the health challenges of today and tomorrow, Prof. J. J. Ghosh Foundation and Birla Industrial & Technological Museum, a Unit of National Council of Science Museums are going to jointly commemorate World Health Day 2023 with Popular Lecture 'Important Health Issues in Student Life' by Dr. Mouli Madhab Ghatak, Senior Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist; Secretary, Spinal Cord Society, West Bengal - to be live-streamed at https://www.youtube.com/live/VdgUM33DzKo tomorrow from 11 am onwards, followed by Open-House Quiz 'WHO@75' celebrating the 75th anniversary of the World Health Organization this year.

Over 100 students from Nabajatak Vidyabhavan for Girls; Techno India Group Academy; Saltlake Point School; Shri Shikshayatan School; Birla High School; Techno India Group Public School, Garia; Delhi Public School, Ruby Park and The Calcutta Emmanuel School are going to attend the sessions.
