SWACHHTA PAKHWADA AWARD - 2022

Swachhta Pakhwada, for the year 2022 was undertaken in all Ministries/Departments of the Government of India. The same was also observed in DoT and its field units/organizations/PSUs across India from 16.11.2022 to 30.11.2022. In orderto ensure greater participation and more effective outcomes of the Pakhwada, it was decided to present “Swachhta Pakhwada Award” to the three best units of DoT.

 

As part of the Pakhwada, O/o Controller of Communication Accounts, Gujarat, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications undertook various activities such as Special Cleanliness Drive on Sabarmati Riverfront, Swachhta Pledge, Awareness Generation Campaign among the staff and general public on maintaining cleanliness etc. Certain other activities like disposal of scrap, setting up of state-of-the-art file management system, regular holding of Pension Adalats and Telecom Outreach Programs for our stakeholders and effective outreach to our stakeholders through verified social media handles were undertaken by this office across the year to spread the message of Swachhta among our staff, stakeholders, and general public. As mark of excellent quality of service delivery by this office to our stakeholders, office has also received ISO 9001:2015 certification.

 

To judge the best offices for the award, a committee of senior officers of DoT was constituted. Based on the assessment of the committee, O/o CCA Gujarat was awarded 2^nd prize among all field units/organizations/PSUs of DoT.

 

The Award was presented by Hon’ble MoSC and Secretary (T) on 29^thMarch 2023 at Sanchar Bhawan, New Delhiwhich was received by officers of O/o CCA, Gujarat.
