Indian Bureau of Mines is a regulatory arm of Ministry of Mines, headquartered at Nagpur, Maharashtra. It has grown into a multi-disciplinary organisation during its journey of 75 years. Today it stands as a credible organisation with the  flagship programs –like,Policy reforms,Mining Tenement System, Star rating for sustainable mining, Mining surveillance system,Use of drone in mining activities,Mineral processing & beneficiation.

IBM Nagpur has undertaken the path of total digital transformation ensuring good governance in the mines & minerals sector of our country.

This year has special significance as IBM will cross yet another milestone on 1st March 2023 i.e  75 years of dedicated service to the Nation in the field of Mineral Development & Regulation. To mark the occasion and to celebrate the event, IBM has set the ball rolling to host a Grand Celebratory function. The venue of the event will be National Fire Service College auditorium, Rajnagar, Nagpur. A galore of dignitaries from the Ministry of Mines, New Delhi, along with all top honchos of the State Departments & Public Sectors and special guests from the Mining consanguinity, would descend at Nagpur to join IBM on this special day.   

A day-long event has been scheduled which includes, Award ceremony of Star-Rated mines along with release of commemorative Postal “My Stamp” will be part of the Mega Event.

IBM, while taking long strides on its march to the future, fondly remembers and appreciates every ounce of contribution made for its progress by every single member of its family who were unfailing in their devotion towards the organisation that they carefully built brick by brick only to make stand a remarkable edifice that prides over its impressive achievements.
