Selection procedures simplified to attract potential job seekers: Union Minister Shri Prahlad Joshi


Over 800 more appointment letters given to new appointees in Rozgar Melas held in Karnataka

Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines,  Shri Pralhad Joshi has  said that self-attestation  makes  life of students easy.
He was speaking at the Inaugural function of  Rozgar Mela held at the Central Revenue Building in Bengaluru today as part of  distribution of  71,000 appointment letters to  new appointees by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Shri Prahlad Joshi said that Union Government is committed to provide job opportunities to youths. He informed that the Rozgar Mela now held every month will continue for another nine months.

A total  309 appointment letters were issued at the Central Revenue Building,  250 each in  Jalahalli and  in Hubbali- Dharwad, he added.  The  Government has abolished job  interview for group C and D posts to make the recruitment corruption free.  

Members of Parliament Shri P.C. Mohan and Shri Tejasvi Surya and Principal Chief Commissioner of Central Excise & GST  Smt. Ranjana Jha were present.
