Department of Posts, Chennai City Region under Tamilnadu Circle released a Special Cover on " 60 Years of The Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSe).  This Special Cover was released on the 60th foundation day of IMSc on 03rd January 2023 at The Institute of Mathamatical Sciences, Taramani, Chennai – 600 113.

The Institute of Mathematical Sciences is a premier research institute in Chennai, India founded by Alladi Ramakrishnan in 1962. Since its inception, members of the institute have engaged in research in fundamental and interdisciplinary sciences and have made significant scientific contributions to the country committed to popularizing Science. This institute has several alumni who are notable scientists in India and around the world.

The Special Cover was released by Shri G Natarajan, Postmaster General, Chennai City Region and Prof. V.Ravindran, Director, IMSe received the special cover.
