Bengaluru: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week celebrations, Office of Controller of communication accounts Department of Telecom Bengaluru organized a walkathon in collaboration with the Department of posts,LSA, BSNL, ITI, BPCL, and Indian army on 30th October 2022,as a curtain raiser to a week-long celebrations.

­The walkathon began with the Integrity Pledge administered by Smt. Madhavi Das, CCA Karnataka to approximately 270 participants followed by a walkathon which covered Palace road , Vidhan soudha, Raj Bhawan Road. Awareness on curbing corruption was highlighted throughout the walk by display of banners and sloganeering. The theme of the Vigilance Awareness Week “Corruption free India for a developed nation” was highlighted throughout the walk.

Department of Telecom endeavours to fight corruption by adopting preventive vigilance measures and also to take various steps to create a transparent working environment.
