BITM Telecasts Solar Eclipse on its YouTube Channel

The last solar eclipse of 2022 started in the afternoon of October 25 and continued after sunset. It was visible in most parts of India and several other countries.
At BITM, Kolkata it was viewed by students, teachers, general Museum visitors and media personnel from the rooftop of the Museum premises.
On this occasion, popular talk on Solar Astrophysics, by Dr. S. Krishna Prasad, Assistant Professor, Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), Nainital, an autonomous institute under the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, was telecast on the BITM YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/c4wgAA8KyiE, from 3:00 pm.
Guided by Prof. Shibu Mathew, from the Udaipur Solar Observatory (USO), Rajasthan, this partial eclipse of the Sun, live - streamed from USO, Physical Research Laboratory, was also telecast by BITM, Kolkata at https://youtu.be/qjwUh4jJdl0, from 4:30 pm.
The next Partial Solar Eclipse will occur on March 29, 2025.
