Honorable Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi will launch Rozgar Mela – the recruitment drive for 10 lakh personnel – on 22nd October, 2022 at11 AM via video conferencing. During the ceremony, appointment letters will be handed over to 75,000 newly inducted appointees. Honorable Prime Minister will also address these appointees on the occasion.

As per the directions of the Prime Minister, all Ministries and Departments are working towards filling up existing vacancies against sanctioned posts in Mission Mode.

The new recruits, selected from across the country, will join 38 Ministries/Departments of Government of India. The appointees will join the government at various levels viz. Group – A, Group – B (Gazetted), Group – B (Non-Gazetted) and Group – C. The posts on which appointments are being made include Central Armed Force Personnel, Sub Inspector, Constable, Lower Division Clerk, Stenographer, Postal Assistant, Income Tax Inspectors, Multi Tasking Staff pertaining majorly to Ministry of Railways, Department of Posts, Ministry of Home, Department of Revenue, Department of Defence, Department of Financial Services and Ministry of Labour and Employment.

As a part of this programme, Tamilnadu Postal Circle is holding First National Event on Mission Nyukti (Appointment) at the KAMBAN KALAIARANGAM AUDITORIUM, 260, Lal Baghadur Shastri Street, Puducherry, 605001 on 22.10.2022 at 10:30am for issuing the offer of appointments to the newly selected candidates.

Dr.Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad, Honourable Union Minister of State for Finance will be the Chief Guest for the function.   This is stated in a Press Release issued by Postmaster General, Chennai City Region, Chennai 600 002.
