In a delightful ceremony graced by the intelligentsia of Gujarat, Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh released the Gujarati edition of book ‘Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery’ in Gandhinagar today. While focusing on several aspects of the leadership qualities of Narendra Modi, Shri Singh said the Prime Minister has brought about a cultural renaissance in the country. The governance and bold decisions taken by the Prime Minister has resulted in India getting a strong place on the high table at world stage, the Defence Minister said. The function was attended by Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel and Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Dr L. Murugan along with Ministers of Gujarat government, senior officers, writers, poets, editors and representatives of art and cultural field from the state.

Shri Rajnath Singh said the Prime Minister has been working very hard not only to change the present but has focused his vision to shape the future course of the country. “Shri Modi has been only the second leader after Mahatma Gandhi who has known the pulse of our nation while communicating directly with people of the country,” the Minister said. The book is a true account of the good governance led by Shri Modi in his career of 20 years that includes 12 years as the Chief Minister and 8 years as the Prime Minister, he added. “The book also decodes the vision of the Prime Minister and helps in understanding the big dreams he sees for the betterment of our people. Shri Modi has redesigned and redefined India’s role against the terrorism,” the Defence Minister said.

In his remarks, Shri Bhupendra Patel highlighted the unique qualities of Modi as a true leader and said the state of Gujarat has accomplished many developmental targets due to policies and initiatives led by Shri Modi. He mentioned the recent remarks by IMF regarding better performance by India when every other country is showing slowdown and said it was made possible due to several people friendly decisions taken by Modi government.    Dr. Murugan in his address said the Gujarati edition of the book would help the people in better understanding of the vision of the Prime Minister. The Minister also underlined several pro-people policies and decisions that have benefited the people of the country. Brought out by the Bluecraft Digital Foundation in English, the Gujarati edition has been published by Navbharat Publications.

A collection of twenty one chapters written by twenty two dignitaries from Home Minister Amit Shah to the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Sudha Murty among others, the book ‘Modi@20: Dreams meet Delivery’ was launched by the former Vice President Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu in May this year in New Delhi. Consisting of insightful details about the twenty years journey of Shri Modi, the book showcases the transformation of Gujarat and the development of India under his able leadership.
