As part of Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav, which commenced on Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s birthday -17th September, the Paradip Port Authority Hospital organised a voluntary Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Vrishav Foundation Trust, Paradip in association with Blood Bank, Red Cross Society, Cuttack. Shri A.K.Bose, Dy.Chairman, PPA inaugurated the Camp in presence of Smt.Suchismita Bose, the Vice-President, Paradip Ladies Club, Dr. P.Panda, CMO, PPA Hospital, other HoDs, Er. Gangadhar Sethi, President, Vrishav Foundation Trust and Senior Officials of PPA. 106 units of blood was collected from the camp. Denizens of Paradip including various industries, Port users, educational institute and voluntary organisations enthusiastically participated in the camp, which increase awareness about need of regular non-remunerated voluntary blood donations.
