First convocation ceremony of Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) and Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) 2021-22 was held at National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Dasnagar, Howrah today. A total of 86 CTS students and 423 CITS students being passed out from the Institute were awarded with certificates along with merit certificates. Union Minister of State for Education Dr. Subhash Sarkar in his audio message highlighted the importance of skill training and urged the students to strive hard to acquire skills as much as possible. The Minister mentioned that under the leadership of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country has been moving forward in every field and it is the vision of our Prime Minister to equip the youth of the country with skills and provide them training so that they would be able to get employment not only in India but abroad also. 

 

Shri N R Arvindam, Regional Director, NSTI; Shri A P Singh, Joint Director, CSTRI; Shri C Yuvraj, Dy. Director, NSTI were present among others on the occasion.
