सांख्यिकी आणि कार्यक्रम अंमलबजावणी मंत्रालय
जुलै 2022 या महिन्यासाठी आधार वर्ष 2012 = 100 नुसार ग्रामीण आणि शहरी भागांकरिता आणि संयुक्त ग्राहक किंमत निर्देशांक

सांख्यिकी आणि कार्यक्रम अंमलबजावणी मंत्रालयाच्या राष्ट्रीय सांख्यिकी कार्यालयाने प्रसिद्धीपत्रकाद्वारे जुलै 2022 या महिन्यासाठी 2012=100 आधार वर्ष मानून अखिल भारतीय ग्राहक किंमत निर्देशांक (CPI) तसेच, ग्रामीण, शहरी आणि संयुक्त भागांसाठी संबधित ग्राहक खाद्यान्न किंमत निर्देशांक (तात्पुरता)आकडेवारी जाहीर केली आहे. अखिल भारतीय तसेच विविध राज्ये आणि केंद्रशासित प्रदेशांसाठीचे उपगट तसेच गटांचे ग्राहक किंमत निर्देशांक देखील जाहीर केले आहेत.
2. सांख्यिकी आणि कार्यक्रम अंमलबजावणी मंत्रालयाच्या क्षेत्र संचालन विभागाच्या कर्मचाऱ्यांद्वारे देशातील विविध राज्ये आणि केंद्रशासित प्रदेशांमधील 1114 शहरी बाजार आणि 1181 गावांतील बाजारांना प्रत्यक्ष साप्ताहिक भेटी देऊन माहिती गोळा केली जाते . सांख्यिकी आणि कार्यक्रम अंमलबजावणी मंत्रालयाने जून 2022 मध्ये 99.7% ग्रामीण व 93.7% शहरी बाजारपेठांमधून माहिती संकलित केली. तर बाजारपेठ निहाय किंमती ग्रामीण बाजारपेठांसाठी 89.5% आणि शहरी बाजारपेठांसाठी 92.3% नोंदविण्यात आल्या.
3. सर्वसाधारण निर्देशांक आणि ग्राहक खाद्यान्न किंमत निर्देशांकांवर आधारित अखिल भारतीय महागाई दर (विद्यमान महिन्यातील दर आणि गेल्या वर्षी याच महिन्यातील दर यांची तुलना करून) खालीलप्रमाणे आहेत:
