Bhaktimarg should be created by beautifying the Savner Dhapewada Gondkhairi four-lane road: Union Road Transport Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari

Union Road Transport Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari today said that by  picturising the life journey of Vittal Rakhumai, Ganapati of Adasa as well as Kolba Swami on the  flyover and on the walls of  the underpass , ROB, constructed on the four-lane road of Saoner -Dhapewada- Gondkhairi , a bhaktimarg  should be made for devotees. He was addressing the inauguration ceremony of Savner Dhapewda Gondkhairi four-lane work of National Highway 547 by National Highway Authority of India -NHAI today. This program was organized at Vitthal Rukhmini Mandir area in Dhapewada.

Gadkari said that integrated efforts of all are needed for the development of the village and he further appealed, everyone should try to keep their village clean and beautiful. Ramtek MP Kripal Tumane, Legislative Council Member, Chandrasekhar Bawankule were prominently ly present on this occasion.

On this occasion Sh. Gadkari said that the work of installing lights worth 9 crores rupees has been approved on the Gondkhairi-Saoner-Adasa road and 40 lakh  rupees has also been approved for the beautification of the bridge. He said that out of the 50 thousand crore work in Nagpur district, 30 thousand crore works have been completed and in Nagpur city, more than 1 lakh crore development works have been done.

On this occasion, Gadkari gave details of the work completed by the National Highway Authority. He explained that the soil extracted from the work done by the National Highway Authority is being used in road construction and water conservation is also done from the deepening  works as well as from the farm-ponds . He said that the ground-breaking ceremony of the railway station expansion work of Nagpur will soon be attended by the railway minister and in this program the contract of the broad gauge railway project to connect Nagpur with other cities of Vidarbha will also be intiated. The total length of Saoner Dhapewada Gondkhairi four lanning of National Highway 547 E is 28.88 km and a provision of  720 crore rupees were earmarked for this. With the construction of this road, there will be connectivity to the pilgrimage places like Vitthal Rukhmini Temple at Dhapewada which is known as Pandharpur of Vidarbha and Ganesha Temple at Adasa . Due to the construction of railway over bridge-ROB underpass built on this road, there will be relief from the traffic congestion coming from Kalmeshwar city and Nagpur city to Saoner Kalmeshwar. The construction of this road also includes a 2.4 km long railway flyover as well as 3 underpasses and 1 overpass. This road will pave way for the smooth traffic from Mumbai to Indore from Nagpur city.

    

Speaking on the occasion, Ramtek MP Kripal Tumane said that for the convenience of the devotees who come here on Ekadashi, provision has been made for the work of solar panels worth  14 lakh rupees from the MP fund. 

Manoj Suryavanshi, Chairman of Nagpur Improvement Project, gave information about road development, sewage treatment project and beautification of river ghats under Dhapewada temple beautification project. Abhijit Jichkar, Project Director of National Highways Authority, gave an introductory note of the program. Officials of National Highways Authority, villagers of Dhapewada and local peoples’ representatives were present in this program.
