Based on intelligence, three lady passengers Smt. Lakshmi Kandasamy w/o Shri Udhayakumar, r/o Tiruchirappalli, Smt. Ganakavalli Subramani d/o Shri Somu, r/o Tiruchirappalliand and Smt. Mariyammal Sudalaimuthu w/o Shri Babu, r/o Dindigul, who were bound for Colombo by Indigo Airlines Flight No. 6E-1207 were intercepted by AIU officers. On personal search, foreign currency (US Dollar) notes in 100 denomination totally valued at INR 34.76 Lakh were found concealed in their person. The same were seized under the Customs Act, 1962.
