International Women's Day, 8th March 2022 was celebrated by Goa Postal Division. 'My Stamp' memento was presented to Smt. Sayonara Telles Laad, Member Secretary- Goa State Legal Services Authority, Dr. Ida de Noronha de Ataide, Dean- Goa Dental College & Hospital Smt. Deepali Naik, Director - Women and child Development by Dr. Sudhir Jakhare, Sr. Supdt. of Post Office, Goa Postal Division.

During the later half of the day, the Women Staff members were presented by a Certificate for recognizing their achievements, hard work and dedication in various fields. A Cancer Diagnostic Camp was organized In collaboration with the Rotary Club of Porvorim. Dr. Sandhya Kadam was the resource person. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sudhir Jahkere, Sr. Supdt. of Post offices highlighted the need for gender equality and empowerment of women. He congratulated the award winners and inspired them for greater future achievements. Various games were organized for the women staff members at Tapal Bhavan, EDC Patto.
