The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, GOI has organisingYouth Parliament at District/State/National levels.Accordingly More than 20,000 Young people from 748 District across India have been participating in the programme. In Tamil Nadu, around 1,000 have registered for the same.

In Tamil Nadu 38 Districts the District Youth Parliament held from 14-19 February 2022. Where 1800 NSS &NYKs  Students participated on virtual mode.

District Level Youth Parliament 2021-2022:

1. Incredible India –An attractive tourist destination by showcasing Indian culture and history like Yoga, spirituality as well as Man Vs Wild theme.
2. Ayushman Bharat- Revolutionizing the Health Sector.
3. BetiBachao, BetiPadhao – A process for women development and empowerment; Harnessing the power of women.
4. Skill India – Bridging the Urban- Rural Divide. Empowering Indians with digital delivery of services, digital infrastructure, and digital literacy.
5. Digital India – Bridging the Urban – Rural Divide. Empowering Indians with digital delivery of services, digital infrastructure, and digital literacy.
6. Swaccha Bharat Swasthya Bharat – Clean India – Making India ODF, Dirt, Filth and plastic free. Inspiring attitudinal change and Building Mass movement in India.

 

The Districts level winners (1 & 2 position) will be taking part in state level National Youth Parliament. Totally 38*2=76 Participants from Tamil Nadu and 2 each puducherry and karaikal. So totally 80 Participants are taking part in State level National Youth parliament on 26^th February from 10.00 Am to 3.00 Pm at MIT Campus, Radha Nagar, Chromepet,Chennai Tamil Nadu.

State Youth Parliament 2021-2022:

1. SabkaSath, SabkaVikasAurSabkVishwas – is the “ Basic mantra” and mission to work for the country and its development for all without discrimation.
2. Sankaip Se Siddhi – Making India free from poverty, Corruption, terrorism, Communalism, Casteism and unite entire country by adopting good governance and using technology.
3. Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat – Bringing India Together; celebrate unity in Diversity, Strengthen fabric of existing emotional bonds and understanding among people.
4. Beej Se Bazar Tak and Lab to Land – HarKhetKoPaani and Per Drop More Crop – Enabling farmers for doubling their income.
5. Make in India – promoting India as the most preferred Global Manuafacturing destination.
6. Khelo India – Fit India – Healthy People, healthy family, fitness as a way of life.
7. Start up India, Stand up India – Building an enabling environment for Start Up Innovation Ecosystem in India.
