Mumbai Customs Destroys Around 270 Kg of Narcotics Substances

Mumbai, 30th December 2021
Mumbai Customs (Zone I) destroyed 269 Kg of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances on 29th December 2021, Wednesday. The drugs comprised of 191.60 kg of Heroine, 65.20 Kg of Mephedrone, 10.02 Kg of Ketamine and 1.86 Kg of PhenylPropanolamine.
The drugs were disposed by way of incineration in the presence of Drugs Disposal Committee comprising of senior officers of Customs, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Police Department. Officials include Zonal Director of NCB, Joint Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner (Customs), Additional Director of DRI and Additional SP. These drugs were earlier seized and confiscated in two different cases by DRI Mumbai Zonal Unit
