On 21.10.2021 the Police Commemoration Day was observed at CISF Unit MPT Goa in a befitting manner, other than the duty personnel assembled in front of the Unit line at 0900 hrs under the supervision of Shri Ajayan.T. Assistant Commandant, CISF Unit MPT Goa. In which Shri Guru Prasad Rai M. Deputy Chairman, MPT Goa was the Chief Guest. Chief Guest & the Senior officers placed wrath on the Martyrs Column erected at the unit line followed with the floral tribute by the remaining personnel, followed with Smriti Parade  & Two minutes mourn to Pay homage to all the Great warriors who made the Supreme sacrifice on laying down their lives in the line of duty of the Nation. 377 numbers of Police personnel who were killed on duty from 01.09.2020 to 31.08.2020 in which 08 personnel are from CISF.

After wards at 10.00 hrs paid tribute to LI NARENDRA MAYEKAR of 11h Sikh regiment who fought boldly & laid down the life on 26.08.2000 in the OPERATION RHINO launched across Assam and its border to Force ULEA out lawed outfit to the negotiating table by deploying four division of the Indian Army backed by 270 companies of Para Military Forces. His family members attended the SMRITI PARADE held in front of the MARTYRS COLUMN near Head Land Sada.
