Khadi and Village Industries Commission in its headquarter at Vile Parle (West) in Mumbai, celebrated the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on Saturday (October 2, 2021).

On this occasion, Swachhata Pakhwada oath was administered by CEO,KVIC Ms. Preeta Verma KVIC also organized various cultural programs and a cleanliness drive. Chief Vigilance Officer, KVIC Ms. Sanghamitra and other senior officials and staff members also participated in the programmes.

On the occasion of 152^nd birth anniversary of Gandhi-ji, KVIC, through its Direct Selling Outlet “Khadi India” in Mumbai, will provide 20% discount on Khadi products and 10% discount on purchase of Village Industries products during the period October 2 to November 1, 2021.

During the program, prizes and certificates were distributed by the Chief Executive Officer to the winners of various Hindi competitions organized by the Commission from September 14 to September 30, 2021.
