The vision and leadership of the Prime Minister has led for a overall development of the industries like IT/BT Startups said Honourable Union Minister for Commerce, Industry and Consumer Affairs today morning at Bengaluru during the Interaction with the Industrial representatives.

Simplification,facilitation and ease of doing business has helped India to create more Startups he said. Further, for promoting startups,Govt is creating future global leaders and wants to become the innovation hub if the world. India has been able to create third largest start up ecosystem in the world since its launch.This has been possible by the Government's focus on reforms like simplification, facilitation and ease of doing business, he said. 

He called upon the industries to be self sufficient in the area of semi conductors. He appreciated the contribution by the IT/ BT/ Startups during the Covid pandemic.

He said that interaction with the industries before formulating the guidelines will definitely have impact.

Senior industrial representatives participated and interacted with the Minister. 

Minister suggested the participants to formulate a draft road map for the development of the IT/BT/Startups.
