Films Division is paying tribute to Acharya Vinoba Bhave, the great social reformer-Gandhian who spearheaded Bhoodan and Sarvodaya movement, on his 126^th birth anniversary on 11 September 2021 by screening a biopic on FD website and You Tube channel.

Vinoba Bhave, the Man (47 min. /Eng./ Vishram Bedekar), gives intimate details of the life and mission of the great scholar-saint. The Bhoodan movement was initiated and nurtured by him to bring social change in the country through non-violent means. This film depicts him as an excellent culmination of saint, freedom fighter, social reformer and thinker.

The tribute to Vonoba Bhave is a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and the film will be streamed on  https://filmsdivision.org/ ‘Documentary of the Week’ section and also on  https://www.youtube.com/user/FilmsDivision on 11 September 2021 for 24 hours.
