Based on intelligence, one Chandru Sakthivel, 23, of Viluppuram who arrived from Dubai by Emirates flight EK-544 was intercepted at exit. On personal search, four bundles of gold paste weighing 948 grams was recovered from rectum. On extraction 810 grams of 24k gold valued at Rs. 40.35lakhs was recovered and seized. He was arrested.
