Many BSNL subscribers are facing hardship due to second wave of pandemic and subsequent movement restrictions to control the pandemic, which is further aggravated by the cyclone “Tauktae”. This has left many subscribers without mobile services due to non-recharge and expiry of validity. In order to extend the helping hand in this hour of crisis, BSNL is extending the validity of all such subscribers up to 31st May 2021, free of cost, so that the subscribers continue to receive incoming calls. In addition to this, BSNL is also giving free 100 minutes calling benefit to all such subscribers, in order to help them remain in touch with their loved ones during these difficult times. Free validity extension shall be provided to all subscribers whose validity expired on or after 1st April 2021.

BSNL also offers several affordable long duration packs for the benefit of low- income subscribers.

       PV 106 and PV 107 that offers 100 days validity with 100 minutes, 3GB data and

BSNL tunes(for first 60 days)

       PV 197 that offers 180 days main validity with unlimited calling, 2GB/day data,

100 SMS/day, BSNL tunes and Zing music content for 18 days.

       PV 397 that offers 365 days main validity with unlimited calling, 2GB/day data,

100 SMS/day, BSNL tunes and Lokdhun content for 60 days.

Shri Pravin Kumar Purwar, CMD, BSNL said, “BSNL   is committed to serve its subscribers during this difficult period and we request the subscribers to “Go Digital” for recharging their accounts. Several options available for recharge include MyBSNL mobile app, BSNL website and other popular wallet services. BSNL subscribers can also avail 4% upfront discount with MyBSNL app for recharging BSNL prepaid mobile of their friends and family. We request all BSNL subscribers to follow COVID guidelines and stay safe.”
