Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore once said, “Trees are the earth’s endless effort to speak to the listening heaven”. Hans Christian Anderson uttered “Just living is not enough....one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower”. Yes, together, we have the power to ‘Restore our Earth’. Natural processes, emerging green technologies and innovative thinking may restore the world’s ecosystems. We all need a healthy earth to support our jobs, livelihoods, health & survival, and happiness. A healthy planet is not an option — it is a necessity. And in the world effort to restore our earth, in the form of afforestation programmes, Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM) has come forward to raise awareness on it among the youngsters.
Tomorrow, i.e., On April 22, 2021 BITM is going to celebrate the Earth Day in a befitting manner. Tomorrow, the Museum will be organising some creativity activities like portraying the word ‘EARTH’ as a medium of Art by using Crayons, clay, found objects and the like and then scan the artwork in high resolution and send its photograph to BITM digital id---bitm.gov.in/earth-day-2021. Students of Class III to XII will be able to participate in this creativity venture.

Besides, there is also a slogan competition in one line, where a student may pen his or her slogan for ‘Restore our Earth’ and help transform our earth to greater positivity and make people more aware about restoring our earth for proper living. In this competition also students belonging to Class III to XII will be able to participate. The digital platform is again bitm.gov.in/earth-day-2021.
All the students will have to send their creativities tomorrow only.
