Joint forces present ceremonial parade &Guard of Honour to new CINCAN

Lieutenant General Manoj Pande took over as 15th Commander-in-Chief of the Andaman & Nicobar Command (CINCAN) at INAS Utkrosh today and inspected the Joint Forces Guard of Honour. Lieutenant General Pande assumed responsibilities of CINCAN on June 1, 2020.

The ceremonial parade comprising personnel of the Army, Navy, Air Force and the Coast Guard was commanded by Commander SiddharthRaut. The personnel on parade strictly adhered to COVID-19 related precautions and guidelines while presenting the Guard of Honour.
He later called on Andaman & Nicobar Islands Lieutenant Governor Admiral D K Joshi (Retd). The CINCAN discussed matters related to national importance, the security situation and preparation for fighting the COVID-19pandemic. The CINCAN assured the LG of all support of ANC to the ANI administration and local populace for security readiness and COVID-19.
