There are 3691 monuments/sites declared as of National importance falls under the jurisdiction of Archaeological Survey of India of which 116 monuments are ticketed monuments.

     

The revenue generated through entry fee for monuments in the last three years is as under:

 

2015-16	Rs.93.95 crores
2016-17	Rs.224.77 crores
2017-18	Rs.269.40 crores

 

 

 

The amount spent for conservation, preservation and maintenance of  centrally protected monuments/sites in the country during the last three years is as under:
