The quantum of foreign funding received by Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) in India in the last three years (as per Annual Returns submitted by the Associations/NGOs) is given below:-

 Registration of 18868 NGOs have been cancelled during the period 2011 to 2017 for violation of various provisions of Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 and Foreign Contribution (Regulation) rules, 2011. Details are available on FCRA Public Portal at https://fcraonline.nic.in.

 This was stated by the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju in written reply to a question by Prof. M.V. Rajeev Gowda in the Rajya Sabha today.
