Framework Agreement signed between the Government and the NSCN (IM) on August 3, 2015 laid down the broad parameters for final settlement.  Final Accord has not yet been signed. The six Naga armed groups are in contact with the Government of India Interlocutor.  Government is aware of apprehensions expressed in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur. These are speculative in nature.  Adequate care is being taken to protect the interests of all stakeholders.

This was stated by the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju in written reply to a question by Smt. Wansuk Syiem in the Rajya Sabha today.
