The Ministry on 18.09.2015 has notified for online filing of Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) athttp://udyogaadhaar.gov.in by MSMEs in place of existing Entrepreneurs Memorandum-II. State/UT wise number of registered Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) under Entrepreneur Memorandum-II (EM-II) and Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum(UAM) during the last three years and current year are given in Annexure-I. Units registered under EM-II during 2007-15 (Nine years period) were 21,96,902, whereas units registered under UAM from September, 2015 to till date were 32,72,412 (One Year and Ten months period).

 

As per the fourth All India Census for MSMEs conducted in 2006-07, for the period ending on 31.3.2007 a total of 4,96,355 registered units in the country were closed out of which 80,616 units were related to State of Uttar Pradesh. State/UT wise number of closed units are given at Annexure-II.

 

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has been implementing various schemes and programmes for development and promotion of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) across the country. The major schemes / programmes include Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Credit Guarantee Scheme, Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (CLCSS), National Manufacturing Competitiveness Programme (NMCP), Micro & Small Enterprises - Cluster Development Programme (MSECDP), Performance & Credit Rating Scheme, Marketing Assistance scheme, International Cooperation Scheme, Assistant to Training Institutions etc. All plan schemes implemented by Ministry of MSME are Central Sector Schemes. Therefore, funds are not allocated State-wise, under these schemes. However, the details of fund allocated and utilized under various schemes of the Ministry at all India level during the last three years and the current are, as under:-
