Society of Automobiles Manufacturers (SIAM) has shared the detail on domestic sales of passenger vehicles during the last two years and the current years as under:

SIAM has reported that the inflation rates have come down in the last two years and fuel prices have also not changed substantially in the recent past. Hence, no major impact on sales is seen due to these factors.
This information was given by Minister of State in the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Shri Babul Supriyo in reply to a written question in the Lok Sabha today.
