The Ministry has launched Mission Parivar Vikas in 146 high fertility districts in the States having high fertility and to place more emphasis on population control by strengthening Family Planning activities through:
•Delivering assured services
•Initiating new promotional schemes
•Ensuring commodity security
•Building capacity (service providers)
•Creating enabling environment
•Closely monitoring and resolving implementation bottlenecks.
The Minister of State (Health and Family Welfare), Smt Anupriya Patel stated this in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha here today.
