Payment System for ASHA Workers

Under the National Health Mission (NHM), ASHAs are given performance/task based incentives in line with their role as honorary volunteers. Under NHM support is provided to States/ UTs for strengthening of their healthcare systems including support for ASHAs based on their proposals. The State-wise details of approvals and expenditure under NHM for ASHAs for FY 2013-14 to 2015-16 is given below:
