The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee condoled the loss of lives of young children in a bus accident in Etah district of Uttar Pradesh yesterday.

 

In his message to Shri Ram Naik, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh yesterday, the President said “I am saddened to learn about the loss of lives of young children in the tragic bus accident in Etah district of Uttar Pradesh.

 

My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the accident.  I am sure that the State Government and other agencies are taking necessary steps to provide all possible help to the bereaved families who have lost their near and dear ones as well as medical assistance to the injured.

 

Please convey my heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased.  I wish speedy recovery to those injured”.
