The song, which has resonated deeply with audiences across the country, evoked memories of the courage and sacrifice of India's armed forces. The evening opened with a captivating performance by young singer Manya Tripathi, setting the tone for a vibrant celebration of the Tiranga and the spirit of patriotism.
The concert witnessed the participation of more than 1,000 school students from across Delhi and over 7,000 attendees who registered online in advance. People from different walks of life came together to celebrate the spirit of the National Flag and National Song, patriotism and unity.

The concert marked the culmination of the Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign, organised from 9 to 17 August, which once again saw citizens across the country participate in a wide range of activities centred around the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. Over the last 5 years Har Ghar Tiranga has evolved into a nationwide people's movement, with participation extending beyond flag hoisting to Tiranga Yatras, cultural programmes, exhibitions, community events and digital initiatives.
A key indicator of the scale of public participation this year was the response to the Selfie with Tiranga campaign. More than 8.27 crore selfies were uploaded on the Har Ghar Tiranga portal, surpassing last year's record of 7.5 crore selfies. The record participation reflects the growing public ownership of the campaign and the willingness of citizens to express their connection with the National Flag and National Song through both physical and digital participation.
Addressing the gathering at the Tiranga Concert, Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that the Tiranga represents the collective aspirations, sacrifices and achievements of the nation and continues to unite Indians across generations. He highlighted the special significance of this year's celebrations, which commemorate 150 years of Vande Mataram, describing the National Song as a timeless expression of love for the motherland that has inspired generations of Indians. The concert was also attended by Secretary, Ministry of Culture Shri Vivek Aggarwal and other dignitaries.
Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 was celebrated across States and Union Territories with the participation of Central and State Government departments, local bodies, educational institutions, Armed Forces, public sector organisations, civil society groups and citizens. Tiranga Yatras, cultural performances, exhibitions, mass participation activities and community programmes brought the campaign to cities, towns and villages across the country.
The Har Ghar Tiranga Concert at Bharat Mandapam provided a fitting conclusion to the campaign, with B Praak's performance bringing together thousands of young students and citizens in an evening of music and collective participation. The concert and the record number of Selfies with Tiranga demonstrate how Har Ghar Tiranga has grown into one of the largest people’s movements driven by citizens and sustained by participation from across the country.
