In connection with remodelling of Tambaram Yard for Engineering and Signalling upgradation / improvement works in Chennai Division, Line Block for a few hours of varying time periods have been sanctioned from 23^rd July 2024 to 18^th August 2024. During this period, Non-Interlocked working of trains will be in force and the following changes will be made in the pattern of Train Services. The changes are given upto 31^st July 2024. The Changes from 1^st August to 14^th August 2024 will be given later :

 

Full Cancellation of train Services:

 

1. Train No. 20691 Tambaram – Nagercoil Antyodaya Superfast Express leaving Tambaram at 23.00 hrs on 23^rd,24^th ,25^th ,26^th ,27^th ,28^th  ,29^th ,30^th and 31^st  July, 2024 is fully cancelled
2. Train No. 20692 Nagercoil – Tambaram Antyodaya Superfast Express leaving Nagercoil. at 15.50 hrs on 22^nd, 23^rd ,24^th ,25^th  ,26^th ,27^th ,28^th ,29^th ,30^th and 31^st  July, 2024 is fully cancelled

 

Diversion of Train Services:

1. Train No. 22632 Bikaner – Madurai Superfast Weekly Express leaving Bikaner at 15.00 hrs on 21^st July, 2024 will be diverted to run via Perambur,  Arakkonam  and Chengalpattu skipping stoppage at Chennai Egmore and

Tambarom. An additional stoppage will be provided at Perambur (09.15 (Arri/09.20 (Dep) for the convenience of passengers

 

2. Train No. 22153 Chennai Egmore – Salem Superfast Express leaving Chennai

Egmore at 23.55 hrs on 23^rd  ,24^th ,25^th ,26^th ,27^th  ,28^th ,29^th ,30^th and 31^st

July,2024 will be diverted to run via Chennai Beach, Arakkonam  , Chengalpattu and Villupuram 

 

3. Train No. 22403 Puducherry – New Delhi Weekly Express leaving Puducherry at 09.55 hrs on 24^th and 31^stJuly, 2024 will be diverted to run via Chengalpattu. Arakkonam, Perambur and Gudur skipping stoppage at

Chennai Egmore. An additional stoppage will be provided at Perambur (13.35/Departure) for the convenience of passengers

 

4. Train No. 22535 Rameswaram – Banaras Weekly Superfast Express leaving Rameswaram at 23.55 hrs on 24^th July and 31^st 2024 will be diverted to run via Chengalpattu. Arakkonam, Perambur and Gudur skipping stoppage at Chennai Egmore. An additional stoppage will be provided at Perambur

(13.35/Departure) for the convenience of passengers

 

5. Train No. 20482 Tiruchchirappalli – Bhagat Ki Koti Humsafar Weekly Express leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 08.10 hrs on 27^th July, 2024 will be diverted to run via Chengalpattu, Arakkonam, Perambur and Gudur skipping stoppage at Chennai Egmore. An additional stoppage will be provided at Perambur (13.35/Departure) for the convenience of passengers

 

6. Train No. 11017 Lokmanyatilak – Karaikal Weekly Express leaving Lokmanyatilak at 13.15 hrs on 27^th July, 2024 will be diverted to run via Tiruttani, Melpakkam Cabin and Chengalpattu. An additional stoppage will be provided at Tiruttani(09.05(Arri)/09.10(Dep) for the convenience of passengers

 

7. Train No. 22613 Rameswaram - Ayodhya Cantt Shraddha Sethu Superfast Express leaving Mandapam at 00.30 hrs on 28^th July, 2024 will be diverted to run via Chengalpattu, Arakkonam, Perambur and Gudur skipping stoppage at Chennai Egmore. An additional stoppage will be provided at Perambur (13.35/Departure) for the convenience of passengers

1. Train No. 12635 Chennai Egmore - Madurai Vaigai Express will originate from Chengalpattu at 14.50 hrs on 23^rd ,24^th  , 25^{th ,} 26^th  ,27^th ,28^th ,29^th ,30^th   and 31^stJuly, 2024 The train will be partially cancelled between Chennai Egmore and Chengalpattu 

 

2. Train No. 12653 Chennai Egmore - Tiruchchirappalli Rockfort Express

scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 23.35 hrs on 23^rd , 24^{th ,} 25^th  , 26^th ,27^th  ,28^th ,29^th ,30^th  and 31^stJuly, 2024 , will originate from Chengalpattu at 00.40 hrs on 24^th ,25^th ,26^th , 27^th ,28^th ,29^th ,30^th ,31^st July, and 01^st August 2024 

 

3. Train No. 15929 Tambaram – New Tinsukia Express scheduled to Tambaram at 18.35 hrs on 25^th July,2024  will commence service from Chennai Egmore  at 19.15 hrs

 

4. Train No. 12760 Hyderabad – Tambaram superfast Express leaving

Hyderabad on 22^nd, 23^rd, 24^th, 25^th, 26^th, 27^th, 29^th, 30^th, 31^st July, 2024 will be short terminated at Chennai Beach.

 

5. Train No. 12759 Tambaram – Hyderabad Charminar Express scheduled to leave Tambaram at 17.30 hrs 23^rd, 24^th, 25^th, 26^th, 27^th, 28^th, 30^th and 31^st July, 2024 will commence service from Chennai Beach at 18.20 hrs. 

 

6. Train No. 20684 Sengottai – Tambaram Express leaving Sengottai at 16.15 hrs on 22^nd, 24^th, 27^th, 26^th, 29^th and 31^st July, 2024 will be short terminated at

Villupuram. The train will be partially cancelled between Villupuram and

Tambaram

 

7. Train No. 20683 Tambaram – Sengottai Express scheduled to leave

Tambaram at 21.00 hrs on 24^th, 25^th,  28^th, 30^th July, 2024 will originate from Villupuram at 23.15 hrs. The train will be partially cancelled between Tambaram and Villupuram

12. Train No. 22658 Nagercoil –Tambaram superfast Express leaving Nagercoil at 16.30 hrs 22^nd ,23^rd  , 25^th , 29^th  and 30^th  July, 2024 will terminate at Chennai Egmore (04.35/ (Arrival) instead of Tambaram

 

13. Train No. 16160 Mangaluru Central – Chennai Egmore Express leaving

Mangaluru Central at 06.45 hrs on 22^nd,23^rd ,24^th  , 25^{th ,} 26^th  ,27^th ,29^th  ,30^th and 31^st July,2024 will be short terminated at Tiruchchirappalli .The train will be partially cancelled between Tiruchchirappalli and Chennai Egmore   

 

14. Train No. 16159 Chennai Egmore – Mangalore Central Express scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 23.15 hrs on 23^rd, 24^th, 25^th, 26^th, 27^th  , 28^th ,30^th  and 31^st  July, 2024 will originate from Tiruchchirappalli. The train will be partially cancelled between Chennai Egmore and Tiruchchirappalli

Due to this Tambaram Yard Remodelling Work, some of the trains passing through Tambaram during the Line Block period (from 23^rd July 2024 till the completion of the yard remodelling work) are likely to get delayed /regulated
