Central Council for Research in Siddha is organizing a colloquium on Siddha Hermeneutics (Unveiling the Treasures of Siddha Noi Naadal & Siddha Syndromes – Approach to Diagnosis) on 27^th & 28^th June, 2024 at Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS), Tambaram Sanatorium.

The Colloquium is to commence with Tamil Thai Vazhthu & Siddhar Vanakkam followed by Lighting of Lamp by the dignitaries. Dr.S. Selvarajan, Research Officer (Siddha)/ Scientist – IV, CCRS will welcome the gathering. The keynote address will be delivered by
Prof. Dr. N. J. Muthukumar, Director General, CCRS, Chennai. Dr. G. Shankar, Siddha Physician & Fertility Consultant, Ezhil Siddha Hospital, Chengalpattu, will grace the occasion as chief guest address and will deliver the Chief guest address. Dr. V. Aarthi, Research Officer (Siddha), CCRS will deliver the Vote of Thanks.110 Students, PG Scholars, Faculty members, Research Scholars, Medical Officers are participating in the Colloquium. Plenary Lectures will be delivered by eminent speakers - Dr. R. Ramesh, Assistant Medical Officer (Siddha), Government Kamaraj Hospital, Chidambaram on the Topic “Skin – The Window to Diagnosis”, Dr. V. Balamurugan, Siddha Physician, Amrutha Centre for Siddha Medicine, Chitalapakkam, Chennai on the Topic “Basics, ETHICS Principles and Practice of Sadhaga Naadi” on the forenoon of 27.06.2024

Dr. S. Aparna, Research Officer (Pathology), SRRI, Thiruvananthapuram, Dr. Balasubramaniyan Veeraputhiran, Assistant Professor in Bioscience-Physiology, Yenepoya University, Bengaluru. & Dr. K. Ajit Kumar, Assistant, Medical Officer (Siddha), Vathalagundu. will deliver lecture on the topics: Understanding Cellular and Tissue Analysis for Diagnosis, Siddha Syndromes – Exegesis Vs Eisegesis Part 1, Siddha Syndromes – Exegesis Vs Eisegesis Part 2 on 28.06.2024 respectively during the afternoon session. Dr.Eugene Wilson, Research Officer (Siddha), CCRS, Chennai, Dr. V. Balamurugan, Siddha Physician, Amrutha Centre for Siddha Medicine, Chennai, Prof. Dr.M. Kalaichezhian, Department of Radio Diagnosis, Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital, Chromepet and Dr. G. Shankar, Siddha Physician & Fertility Consultant, Ezhil Siddha Hospital, Chengalpattu, will be throwing light on the following Topics:

1. Approach to Madhumegam.
2. Case studies.
3. Radiology and Siddha Basics.
4. Eve Care: Menarche to Menopause on 28.06.2024.

The Valedictory Ceremony is scheduled on 28.06.2024 @ 4.15 p.m. Dr. Eugene Wilson will present the colloquium report. The Valedictory address will be delivered by Dr.J.Jeyavenkatesh, Managing Director, Kokila Siddha Hospital and Research Centre, Madurai and the   Valedictory Ceremony will be presided over by Dr.N.J. Muthukumar, Director General, CCRS.
