Vaccination of adolescent age group population started at Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital of Metro Railway. Elaborate arrangements were done at this hospital to vaccinate 15 to 17 years old adolescents with Covaxin as per the Government guidelines. The administrations of the jabs were done maintaining all Covid protocols. The process is going to continue.

It is to be mentioned that Covid vaccination drive has been continuing since February 2021 in Metro Railway. Several camps were already arranged at Tapan Sinha Memorial hospital, Noapara Carshed, Belgachhia Auditorium and the Metro Rail Bhavan in order to reach out to maximum Railway beneficiaries including front-line workers, senior citizens, other staff and non-railway personnel. The Metro Railway authority has informed that till Monday (January 10, 2022) total 21,525 doses (including first and second doses) have been administered.
