National Workshop on Disaster Risk Financing, Insurance and Risk Transfer

Event

The National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) is organizing a one-day National Workshop on Disaster Risk Financing, Insurance and Risk Transfer, jointly with the Insurance Institute of India. The workshop is a precursor to the National Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (NPDRR), which is being held in May 2020.

The Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of India, Dr. P. K. Mishra, who is a recipient of Global UN Sasakawa Award for Disaster Risk Reduction will be the Chief Guest.
