The international
crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by the Petroleum
Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas
went down to US$ 113.50/barrel (bbl) on 20.02.2013. This was lower than the
price of US$ 113.65/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of 19.02.2013.
In rupee terms, also,
the crude oil price of declined to Rs 6134.68/bbl on 20.02.2013
as compared to Rs 6170.06/bbl on 19.02.2013.
This was due to rupee appreciation dollar terms. Rupee dollar
exchange rate on 20.02.2013 at Rs 54.05/US$
against Rs 54.29/US$ on previous trading day of 19.02.2013.
