Supply of Raw Materials to SSIs
To promote the micro and small enterprises, Government has a scheme for routing allocation of iron and steel materials from main producers to the micro and small enterprises (SSIs), all over the country, including Chhattisgarh, through the State Small Scale Industry Corporations and National Small Industries Corporation. Under the coal distribution policy of the Government, supply of coal to consumers in small and medium sector is available through the nodal agencies, nominated by the State Government. Raw materials are available at market determined prices.
This information was given by the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Shri Dinsha Patel in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha today.
