Alert RPF Team Rescues Minor Girls
The prompt and timely action taken by Railway Protection Force (RPF) helped in nabbing three kidnappers and rescuing two minor girls from their clutches. On 5th November 2010 at about 20.30 hrs., there was an SOS call from the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Vanastalipuram, Hyderabad to the Zonal Security Control Room/Secunderabad/ (SCR) that three kidnappers along with two kidnapped minor girls were travelling in S/10 coach of train No. 5016 Express Ex-(Yushvantapur–Gorakhpur). Sub-Inspector/RPF on duty in the Security Control Room/Secunderabad promptly alerted the Divisional Security Control Room/Jhansi(NCR).

Acting on this information, Inspector/RPF, Jhansi and his team swung in to action and detained all the three kidnappers along with two kidnapped minor girls on arrival of the train at Jhansi at 01.00 hrs on 6th November, 2010. The kidnappers and the rescued minor girls were made over to the Andhra Police personnel subsequently.
