On 21 Aug 19 at about 1015 h, an Indian Air Force service vehicle met with an accident near Barmer, Rajasthan. There were six IAF personnel travelling in the vehicle. Corporal GS Rawat, Non Combatant (E) Ashok Kumar and Non Combatant (E) L Serpa Kumar sustained fatal injuries. Sergeant Mani Ram and Non Combatant (E)  Arun Kumar, who have sustained severe injuries, have been airlifted to Military Hospital, Jodhpur. Corporal Prasad, who sustained minor injuries, is being treated at Govt Hospital, Barmer. Indian Air Force expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the deceased air-warriors. Investigation has been ordered by IAF authorities.
