"Hamari Dharohar” scheme has been formulated to preserve rich heritage of minority communities of India. The scheme provides for curating rich heritage of minorities under overall concept of Indian Culture which includes curating exhibitions, preservation of literature/ documents etc. Preservation of minority heritage buildings has not been undertaken so far under the Hamari Dharohar Scheme. The budget and funds utilization under Hamari Dharohar Scheme during previous financial years since 2016-17 are as below (Figures in Rs. Crore):-

“Public Order” is a State subject as per the Seventh Schedule of the Constitution of India. The responsibility of maintaining law and order, registration and prosecution of crimes against life and property of all citizens including minorities, rests with the respective State Governments. Ministry has not received report of damage to minority heritage buildings from states.
