The Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has greeted the people on the eve of Holi. In a message, he said that the festival of colours Holi, celebrated with traditional fervor and enthusiasm throughout the country, is a celebration of the victory of good over evil. It is a festival that expresses joy, camaraderie and conviviality, he added.

“I convey my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Holi.  

Holi is a festival of colours. Celebrated with traditional fervor and enthusiasm throughout the country, the colourful festival of Holi is a celebration of change of seasons. It is a celebration of the victory of good over evil. It is a festival that expresses joy, camaraderie and conviviality.

May this festival bring peace, harmony, prosperity and happiness in our lives.”
